I believe anime can change the world, so I'm out on a mission to change how people think about anime. This art form and medium allows us to tell stories you can't tell anywhere else, and in doing so, captivates imaginations and brings people together. What I want to do professionally is nothing short of discovering how far we can go with anime.

If you were to ask me what my superpower was, I would say it's inspiring others with my passion -- on the promise -- of what anime can be. I have a true love for all things geek (especially science fiction and fantasy!), but it's my deep, transdisciplinary expertise in anime alongside a true curiosity for what others do that has let me make a career in this space.

I’m not afraid to reinvent myself — I quit my job as a contract manufacturing program manager two years after getting a degree in chemistry to get a minimum wage job testing video games — and am always ready for a challenge!

We're still early, but I believe that Web3 — applied the right way — can positively impact the Japanese anime industry and help address issues in the value chain that have left creatives behind in anime's global success.
